Unintentional Foster

I have had dogs most of my life, there were times here and there when I was younger that I didn’t, but there has been dogs in my life more years than there hasn’t. Poodles to Rottweilers, mixed breed to pure, small, large, skinny, fat, hyper to mellow. I have had them all.

Noah

Noah suffered some horrific abuse that resulted in his right front paw being removed leaving exposed bone and tissue. When Vals took him in the original plan was to amputate the leg at his shoudler, however that changed when word got out about him. 100’s of people stepped up to donate and we were able to get him fitted with a prosthetic and he is now living the good life in Florida.

Saint Francis AKA Frannie

Frannie is one of those dogs that if I didn’t know better I would not believe her transformation. When she was picked up off the street by two of our volunteers she weighed just 23 pounds.  She most likely would not have survived another December night on the streets.

#CubbyStrong

Life With Dogs has run a story about Cubby. You can read it here.  Cubby wasn’t given much of a chance at life, when he came to us he was in pretty bad shape. You could tell he wasn’t ready to give up though.
