Sarge is a very sweet and loving boy. He will flop over for a good belly rub for anyone willing to give him affection. Sarge wants to be with his people at all times. He has always has his eyes on his foster Mama and he never lets her out of his site. Sarge is a very loyal dog. He currently lives with large dogs, young kids and a cat in his foster home and is friends with everyone. He is an easy going guy. Sarge rides well in a car and walks great on a leash. Sarge loves to play hard with his furry foster brothers and sisters but calms down nicely after a good playtime. He enjoys being outside to sunbathe in nice weather but prefers inside with the family. He is about as sweet as they come. Sarge is eager to please, and listens very well. Sarge is still looking for his forever family, that he can spend the rest of his life loving and being loyal too. He is a great dog!
Sarge was rescued from the shelter euthanasia on his last day to live. Sarge came to us with intestinal parasites, full of fleas, mange, unaltered, heart-worm positive and severely underweight. We originally thought we were going to see a senior German Shepherd but we soon could see the white face was from him being a mix breed, not senior. We had a DNA test done and Sarge is exactly half Husky and half German Shepherd Dog.
